Obama, Common, FOXNEWS and Assata Shakur

Bill O’reilly challenges Jon Stewart to a debate over Obama’s recent white house guest Common, who FOXNEWS calls a controversial rapper and “cop-killer defender”. Jon Stewart is set to debate Bill on the subject today on FOXNEWS.

One of the cop-killers in question is Tupac’s step-father’s aunt. Black Panther Party and Black Liberation Army member Assata Shakur, who in 1973 was involved in a shootout on the New Jersey Turnpike, during which New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster and Black Liberation Army member Zayd Malik Shakur were killed and Shakur and Trooper James Harper were wounded. In 1977, she was convicted of the first-degree murder of Foerster and of seven other felonies related to the shootout. She escaped from prison in 1979 and has been living in Cuba in political asylum since 1984.
